Brrr...SnOw!

Brrr...It's cold - cold - cold today. We have a winter weather watch advisory for the next 24 hours or so here in Far West Texas. This is the desert...we aren't used to blistery cold weather in these here parts.

The weather reports say we can expect 2" - 3" of snow today. This is my backyard where there is already about 4" of snow accumulated on the patio table and chairs.



And in the front yard...the palm trees would surely appreciate a heated blanket wrapped snuggly around their big ol' trunks.




Enjoying a day of reading a good book and drinking warm lemon tea.

    I've never seen palm trees and snow together. We're having an unseasonably warm Christmas here in New York. Maybe you got our weather.

    Wow! Great blog. I love all your art but you can keep the snow. I'm in Michigan and we are free and clear of the white stuff at the moment. Hope your Christmas was all you wanted it to be - mine sure was and I'm very grateful. Thanks for letting me look.

    Oh my goodness that sure looks cold; and here we are in 33C. But I would rather be in snow for Xmas than the tropics it is not as much fun in the hot for pre Xmas and Xmas day. Cheers Glenda
